Due to the COVID- 19 outbreak, people are not receiving the basic entitlements. The Transgender Community is facing a bigger obstacles in these challenging times. HRLN filed a petition when 6 trans person could not avail food grains due to the non possession of ration cards. The Patna High Court took notice of the situation and ordered the State to provide the basic services like food to the transgender community even if they do not possess ration cards.
