Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh on 16.01.2019 issued notice to State Government in a Public Interst Litigation filed by Madhya Pradesh Unit of HRLN against the easy availability of acid and violation of Supreme Court guidelines on its sale. Advocate Shanno Shagufta Khan along with petitioner said that despite the apex court order empowering sub-divisional magistrate to implement guidelines and allow only licensed sale of acid, easy availability couldn’t be curbed.
