HRLN organized a two-day National consultation on, ‘Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill, 2016 and Allied Legislations’ on3rd and 4th of November 2016 at the School of Social Sciences Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. It is a part of anongoing initiative of the organization to ensure and advance the sexual and reproductive health and rights of transgender persons in the country.
The consultation brought together representatives from transgender communities, activists, human rights lawyers and various experts to discussand voice collective concerns over the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill, 2016 and allied legislations.
