Activist from HRLN did a fact finding in Lower Subansiri District, Arunachal Pradesh to examine these inequalities in the enjoyment of public health and the underlying human rights violations. The object of study for this report can be narrowed down in the following three ways.
- To investigate access to and quality of healthcare in a highly disadvantaged region of the country
- Inequality based on gender, this fact finding report specifically looks into the quality, availability, and accessibility of maternal healthcare facilities in Lower Subansiri District, with a particular focus on the Raga Sub-District
- Inequality based on socio-economic status, this fact finding report scrutinizes public healthcare facilities, in the form of the Primary Health Centre in Raga. Primary health centres constitute the second-most decentralized form of public healthcare facilities in India
